Good evening.

I have just been left a gold pocket watch made by Summit.  It has a Swiss movement and says 17 jewels INCABLOC on the dial.

Can anyone tell me anything about this make or what "INCABLOC" refers to?

Many thanks

INCABLOC is a widely used anti shock system. It protects the timing from altering if the watch if dropped onto a hard surface from a height of no more than 1 metre. It first appeared in the 1930's so your watch would appear to date from then. Sorry can't help with the make...
