I have just inherited a pocket watch that i believe came from the late 1800 from switzerland. It is from Chaux De Fonds. It is signed H. Rosselet.

It says Patent Lever, Full Ruby Jewelled. Nothing is written on watch face. If you could point me in any direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!
Alan

perhaps a picture  would make it easier for someone to identify it! Have you thought of opening the back case ? there might be some information there. It could be an Omega. Lots of people made watches in Switzerland..rolex was founded in Chaux De Fonds in 1915,Omega in 1848... About H.Rosselet...he  might be a previous owner of the watch and nothing more .
