Tag Heuer HELP!!!!

Hi I have a 7-8 year old Tag Heuer it has been serviced about 2 years ago, it is all working fine other than the Chronometer hands (the big red and big white hands, that are static until the timer is started) are miss aligned.

I am not sure what series my watch is, it is a sports diving chronograph, with a metal strap and black face. It cost £975 from goldsmiths I think it is now discontinued and looks like the 2000 series of today…

-My question is, I understand there is a way to line up the hands manually by pressing the buttons in a sequence / without removing the back. does any one know what it is?

My local jewellers are refusing to tell me what it is and are saying £40 please!!!!!
