Hi,

Anyone compared these two watches at all?

I like the looks of both, but can't really decide which.  The Aerospace is cheaper new, but both seem to have the same kind of spec.  Any ideas?

Thanks,
Josh

I have both. But I should qualify: my Aero is of the older style which has just recently been  re-styled by Breitling. The new style of the Aero  is less business-like, with shiny markers. In my view they've wrecked a design classic, even though they've given it a stronger alarm and a backlight. The previous version of the Aero had a weak alarm (but not that bad) and no backlight.

The B1  is probably my favourite all-round watch in terms of daily use. It has a great alarm, a backlight and a host of other features, all of which are easy to use.

Summary -- if you like the looks of the new Aero then compare it to the B1 and get the one you prefer  in terms of cosmetics. If  the improvements to the new Aero don't matter to you -- and you prefer a lighter watch -- then try to snap up one of the older versions before they go: you'll have a design classic as well as a highly functional watch.

Hope this helps. Any other questions, please ask.
