Who is the maker?

My grandfather left me a number of belongings, including 2 very early dating watches(one circa 1850). I am unable to trace the maker of the other watch however. It has very clear markings, being 18ct an gold watch with a sheild containing a diamond above a heart. The workings are swiss and look to be of a high quality. Is anybody familiar with this symbol/watch maker?
